Whilst tidying today, I realised how many Ciate nail polishes we have between the two of us and couldn't resist showcasing them all!

A few weeks ago, I went on an overnight trip for a Model United Nations conference and was speaking to my friends about my straight-lash problems. Their instant recommendation was the Shu Uemura or Shiseido curler.
Ever since I've been getting more into makeup and looking into tools, these two curlers have been hailed as almost everyone's holy grail eyelash curlers.
I decided it was finally time to get my own!

This week, we were taking a look at our lipstick collections and stumbled across a severe lack of suitable reds for the both of us. Even though we had them, we found that what we thought was a simple red lipstick for a classic makeup look turned out to be much more complicated - with pink-based reds, orange-based reds, deep reds, bright reds, matte reds and reds with all different finishes!
And that doesn't even take into account how each of these works with every individual skin tone. Reds which worked for one of us didn't necessarily suit the other! 

And so, we thought we would help you all out and post some swatches of our own reds on both of our skin tones so you could see how different they look and let us know which ones you like :)

I am obsessed with glitter nail polishes, especially if they look holographic/star-like, because they can be used as a top coat over every nail polish colour to give it that extra sparkle, or they can be layered up for a simple but show stopping look.
Since seeing photos of the most amazing glitter polishes swatched by other people, I have been pining after various indie polishes and searching for my own beautiful galaxy inspired polish available at a reasonable price in the UK. Little did I realise that I already had the necessary polishes for my own stardust!
I recently rediscovered the only OPI polish I own, which was purchased on a random beauty website to test its quality but I have since forgotten its details. But I do know that I did not pay retail price for the polish.
